The training agency

The Machiavelli Centre was founded in 1978. One of our principal objectives is to promote the interaction between students and real daily life in

Florence and in Italy, by providing linguistic and cultural tools and creating opportunity for exchanges.
Since 1988, the school has been part of TANDEM NETWORK, an International Association of Language Schools. Since 2003 the Centre is officially

recognized from the Ministry of Education; in 2005, it obtained the ISO9001:2000 certification of quality.
In 2008, the School was recognised as a consultancy and training organisation for Lifelong Learning accredited by the Region of Tuscany. The

Centre also operates within EU programmes and in training activities.
In the last 7 years realized several mobility and multilateral projects within the EU Lifelong Learning Programme 2007-2013.
In 2012 our centre obtained the European Language Label for creating an innovative multimedia English language learning program for blind and

visually impaired students.
